Thrift shop finds: Snail mail loot!

As I have posted before, I quite like browsing thrift shops for some great finds. I have gotten some great stuff in thrift stores, including books, dresses and even my antique sewing machine!! Today however, was a snail mailers delight kind of day!! 🙂

For a grand total of 9.78$, I scored a very large bag of wrapping paper squares, 2 large resealable bags brimming with cards, postcards and envelopes( see pictures), Halloween tags and adhesive ribbon!

With so much stuff, there is no way I could get a picture of everything, but check it out!!

A butterfly card series, a beach series and a garden series, Halloween tags and cutesy kitchen cards.

A bunch more postcards of various things and places, mainly around Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts.

The bag of wrapping paper. Zentangle turtles anyone?

And finally. the whole pile. You can also see a large amount of Christmas cards at the back. Look how tall most of these stacks are!! Are almost everything is nice, I only found a handful of cards I have no interest in!!

Apparently I was too excited to crop my slippers out of the shots, but oh well! 🙂 What do you think?? I don’t know about the rates elsewhere, but here, I would have paid close to that price for one box of Christmas cards come Holiday season! I’m so excited to send some of this stuff off 😀

Have you found any great deals lately, thrift store or otherwise?

Hey there! I love it all…and I especially love the slippers in the photos edges because I have done that same thing many a time. I love thrift stores and yard sales. Many of the things I use the most are things I have found in such places. What a great find. 😀
